ABSTRACT: Exploring the benefits of mindfulness-based practices in early childhood settings is crucial for fostering holistic child development. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of mindfulness practices on young children's emotional, cognitive, and social well-being. The objectives were to (1) assess improvements in emotional regulation, (2) evaluate the enhancement of cognitive functions such as attention and memory, and (3) examine the role of mindfulness in promoting social skills. A survey design was employed to systematically collect data from participants. A purposive sample of 110 children aged 4-6 years, who engaged in mindfulness practices, was selected from an early childhood education center in Osun State. Findings indicated significant improvements in emotional regulation, enhanced cognitive functions, and improved social skills. Recommendations included incorporating mindfulness practices into early childhood curricula and providing specialized training for educators to implement these practices effectively.
